ive got AOL. does this mean i cant use newsgroup becuase they dont have or does not support NNTP News! what shall i do, should i forget about newsgroups? i dont want to pay for anything though!

If you dont want to pay, your stuck with crappy arse torrents. Otherwise, sign up to astraweb or giganews. Great service, and for the amount of stuff you can get, very cheap.

I have read up on newsgroups but I can't see any real reason to use them. I only have 1 meg broadband and when downloading my torrents I get my full speed of 100 k/bs + so what would be the point of switching to newsgroups?

You don't have to seed back with newsgroups. No ratio's either.

you need to signup and then you can see that they have ps2 games ,xbox 360 games, psp games ,films and more stuff you need a newsreader to make downloads

Plus using newsgroups you get a constant max speed with newsgroups your speed drops and rises, plus you have to share the file you are downloading with newsgroups you just download and that is it.

i put this, "http://nzbsrus.com/ " in to the "create new server profile" and after i followed th einstructions and pressed okay and hten it said "No data when looking up http://nzbsrus.com/" i also tried it with alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2 same thing. whats wrong with it?
