You are mistaken, those ARE RAR files. Extract the first file in the sequence, srp-dgr.001 and an .ISO file will be produced which you can burn on to a DVD.

Games are usually distributed in a number of RAR-archives (compressed files). This has been done to facilitate the actual download of the release. You only need to extract the first file in the sequence (usually named game.rar or game.r001/.001) and the rest of the files will be uncompressed automatically. When the files have been extracted (uncompressed), a CD/DVD image file will be produced. The CD/DVD image is an exact digital replica of a CD/DVD, whereby all of the data is stored in one file to completely preserve the data structure and integrity of the CD/DVD. Some common disk image formats include: .BIN/.CUE, .IMG, .NRG, .MDF/.MDS, .CCD, and .IMG. These disk images can be burned using software such as Nero, Alcohol 120%, DVD Decrypter, and ImgBurn. See the sticky threads at the top of the PS2 DVD Backup forum if you need help in using these programs.

In short, typically, games are split into several compressed files. These files are usually found in RAR format and usually suffixed with .rar/.r00#/.00# file extensions. When these files are extracted (uncompressed), they 'come together' and produce a single image file (most commonly in .ISO format) which you can burn onto a CD/DVD.

the game is superman returns, and .001 files are not the most common rar extension,so you need open it manually,or add this file extension in WinRAR to avoid future confusion, only later versions of WinRAR allow this option,so you may or may not need to update WinRAR

open WinRAR
options/settings/intergration/user defined archive extensions (add .001 in the tab)/click ok

then go back to the rar files you have, and right click on the file that has the extension .001
you can now select extract here

No. Open the folder, there should be an image file (.ISO, .MDF/.MDS, .CUE/.BIN, .NRG, .IMG). You burn that file, not the folder that contains it.

you should have an image, and not a folder
make sure you have not got WinRAR associated with iso

open WinRAR
option/settings/intergartion

untick the iso tab (if its ticked)

as for the 99.9% problem
what you need to do is keep the rar files you have, open the torrent file in another client, say utorrent or Azureus, and re-start the torrent,it will do a hash check, and finish off the download so it completes to 100%

To reiterate once more, after you extract the first RAR in the sequence, srp-dgr.001, an image file will be produced (or a folder with an image file contained within it). The image file will most commonly have an .ISO, .MDF/.MDS, .IMG, OR .NRG file extension. You need to burn that image file (DO NOT EXTRACT THE IMAGE FILE).

no, you do not make a data disc.
do this.

Open up Nero burning rom and create a new UDF/ISO dvd . Drop all the game files into Nero. Nero will change the order of the files graphically, however they burn in the order that you dropped them in.

Name the image and burn it at 4x.

Presto, you've rebuilt and burned a PS2 game. Play it.

You've extracted too far! Delete what you've got right now, then as Hursty said earlier...

open WinRAR
options > settings > integration

untick the iso tab
Then OK & close the options. Browse to where your download is & highlight the 1st file 'srp-dgr.001', and click the 'Extract To..' button, then OK. The iso will now extract to a folder called 'srp-dgr'.

Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!!

Hi guys. just wondering how to rename file called PAD.AST into a text file in order for it to be rebuilt not having to use Nero, lets say using iso buster, ggenie or apache programs?

Dude, don't be a dick. Yes, downloading games that the uses has not purchased IS illegal. However, a consumer is perfectly entitled to back up and or download media that they have legally purchased (provided it is the same version and what not). I am not advocating piracy, but since you have absolutely no idea what hahaninja owns and does not own, don't make stupid unhelpful comments that have little relevancy to the thread. By the way, thanks orthongol, I was looking on how to work with those multi-rar torrents.
