hey sorry to bother you guys again, but i was playing mgs, (thanks to those who helped me out) and i noticed that it took too much space on my memory card. i was wonder, whats the best iso compressor out there that i can download?

u can use umdgan to compress it
download it here : http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/948
now just extract it out to desktop and boot it.
on the tabs u will see alot of menus choose UMD IMAGE CONVERTER,remember to set it to cso or DAX then set the compression level around 4,5 or 6.start the batch conversion,wait for it to finish and you will have the file where u got the iso from

alright. sounds good, but i got 2 questions. first is whats better? dax or cso, and the second is will the cso or dax read in my devhook? or doe devhook only read isos?

if ur psp is a TA-082 then dax format will not work.so u have to use CSO then.but in the same way i think cso is a lot better.
well iso and cso works on devhook properly.best to check if the game works when it is ISO format coz some games does not work when compress to cso.weird

Set it at 9 (the highest). However if you do that and your CSO doesn't work or it lags then lower the compression level.

well u can choose but i think if u set it to level 4 to level 6 is the best

nah some games do lag like daxter,i think killzone too.when u set the compress level too high the games sometimes slows down
|

Yeah I just noticed that, when I tried killzone with the compression level at 9 it doesn't work at all.
