I just bought a psp camera from Japan. Will there be any compatability problems with my NTSC psp?

I'm pretty sure that there wont be. But the best way to find out is to try it :).

BTW if you have a DevHook compatible firmware (i.e 2.71 or below) then don't upgrade just for the camera, DevHook emulates 3.02 allowing you to use the camera.

So with the 3.00 Emulation there already is the camera option under photo right and I am not gonna have to install the software that comes with it. Chotto shot or something. Cause if you install it on your psp it automatically takes it to 2.81. Any thoughts?

No you dont have to install that software. Just setup DevHook 0.51 to emulate firmware 3.02 using my guide:

No thats fine, it will work on firmware 3.00 as well.
