Awesome!! Fengtao is getting better and better. One of the best FREE ripper (tool) beside RipIt4Me, DVDFab Decrypter is a "must" have.

For rippers? I prefer free. So, I'll take DVDFab Decrypter, it is a must have ripper (possibly one of the best FREE ripper in my opinion).
ImgBurn, on the other hand is a free burning application (VIDEO_TS and ISO burning engine). I highly recommend all members to get these 2 free tools.
As for CloneDVD (slysoft), it stands up to it's name. I have never used any of them, but have been noticing about their (slysoft's) products for a long time, since day one I joined AD.
However, I've already had all the tools I needed when it comes to DVD ripping and backing up (i.e. DVDFab Decrypter, RipIt4Me, DVD Shrink, Nero Recode, Nero Burning Rom/Express, DVD-RB Pro + CCE SP 2.70, DVD Decrypter and ImgBurn). Therefore, I never purchased any of their products.
Best of luck!!

I have both DVDFAB Platinum and DVDCopy95Pro. Platinum also allows you to convert DVD's to ipod videos. I haven't tried that inasmuch as I'm not much interested in watching postage stamp videos with something stuck in my ear, but it's there for those that want it. Both allow you to make multiple copies with recopying.
Both programs do an excellent job at ripping and burning and have multiple options, i.e movie only, movie with menus, 1:1 direct, join, split to 2 DVD-5, etc. Both programs are updated frequently. I have burned numerous DVD-5 and -9 discs with no problem using a new high power desktop and an older laptop with a D/L USB burner. I haven't found a movie yet that I couldn't burn.
Neither program is free, but they aren't that expensive, either. If you want walk-away convenience (after setting the program options) to do something else while your movies rip and burn, either one is a good way to go.

Anybody else having problems with ripping 2 DVD's at once? I have 2 DVD drives installed. I used to be able to rip 2 at a time with older versions. Now the 2nd instance just gives me an error when I start the process.
Task_1 failed! Error=300
Any ideas?

What is the normal time it takes to go from DVD to DVD? The earlier version of DVDFab Platinum was only taking like 30 minutes. Now its taking like 55 or 60. I'm running a P4, 3.0Ghz, 1.0GB RAM computer. Does anyone have any ideas as to why its taking so long to copy from DVD to DVD??
Thanks,
mtomek

My system is Intel P4, 2.67GHz, 1GB RAM on Win XP SP2, obviously she's older than yours and I can rip any dvds using DVDFab Decrypter within 15 - 18 minutes successfully.
Sounds like you're having DMA issue. Try DMA guide here to "uninstall" it's drivers.
Best of luck!!

Thanks for the info. Would there be any reason why my computer is showing two Primary IDE Channels and just one Secondary????
Thanks.
