I Bought a 360 and a Xbox Live Gold subscription for Xmas....

Just wondering how LIVE works?......I mean with profiles and stuff.

I tried the 360 before I wrapped it up for Xmas and I see that you can create GAMER PROFILES....

How does this work on LIVE.......

I mean....what if me and my kids all have different gamer profiles.....can you get on the same single LIVE account with any of the profiles?

I guess what I'm trying to say is......can we all play on live with different profiles.....or can you only have ONE profile on LIVE and we all have to play that one?

Whatever......maybe one of you guys will understand my jibberish......heheh.

On the 360 each of you can create your own gamer profile. But when you want to go online, you'll need to create a Live gamer profile. And there is just one profile per Live account. But depending on the game, you may be able to play multiplayer on your 360 online. The other gamers on your machine will be allowed to play as Guests.

For example, when I play Call of Duty 3 online, I play on my Live acount and the game also supports up to 3 more player. So 4 of us can play on my machine at the same time on Live. COD3 supports 24 players, so 4 of us can join and play with 20 others.
