I made a ISO using DVD Decryptor of God of War, and my ISO came out as 8.3gb, yet when I look at places like Isohunt, I find God of War ISOs with sizes like 2.95gb, and 3.18gb. Whats up with that? Can God of War be fit on a DVD5, or does it require a DVD9 disk?

yes it can, but it has to be modified.
It is a DVD9 game so it will not fit on a DVD5 unless
you use a tool to rip it down to that size
if you see those other ISO's that are smaller online it is
because someone has already done it for you.

Unless of course you hav a modchip like DMS4 Pro which can play DVD9 back ups, in that case you could just burn the ISO to a DVD9
disc and play it.

it's quiet easy to rip down, you just extract both layers from the ISO, bust the TOC and then remove all the 'bonus' files (they are the 'making of' movie) and then cross link all files from both layers with the same name as well as link the bonus files removed to any other file you choose (it's not important which one) and rebuild the TOC and the ISO and burn. the output should be 3.18gig in size.

you can also down sample the FMV files to a lower bit rate and keep all the content of the making of but the FMV quality is compromised on large screen TVs.
