Yeah 2.71 SE-C is the latest SE firmware. Yeah you can emulate 3.02 on it, just follow my guide:

well i tried to install it manually, not using the installer, all i can say was that it was soooo difficult and it was the first time i bricked my psp(i tried 5 times and it was a brick every single time)

It is but its very very buggy and its not made by Dark_Alex. I mean, even the internet browser doesn't work. You're better off using DevHook 0.51.01 to emulate 3.02.

BTW The reason its buggy is because it doesnt even use the 3.02 kernel so half the features of 3.02 dont work anyway (the only new feature that works are the visualisations). Also because there is limited space in the flash to have something with both the 3.02 and 1.5 subset.

Yeah and I'm sure Dark_alex will fix it but only if he doesn't leave the scene (which he has been talking about).

Yeah, cos it has half of the features that 3.02 does, but it also has the most important for us (homebrew) :)

i think the 2.71 homebrew kernel should be removed all together. It seems to cause more problems than its worth.

Yeah, I dont see the point in supporting HEND homebrew in the first place. But I guess Dark_Alex put it in there so developers who wanted to make homebrew for 2.71 could test out their apps.
