I just checked my Media ID, its CMC MAG A3. I heard that was crappy. >_> My bully game constantly skip and has long loading times... could this be the reason? Btw I just ordered myself a Taiyo Yuden x16 4.7GB Silver Thermal at SuperMediaStore. Will that be a huge difference? Thanks.

CMC Mag is cheap dye, not saying that some other brands (Philips)
that use it will not work. It is just lower class stuff.
And Memorex, commonly refered to as Memosux, is just not good media
at all.
Personally i would have ordered the 8X DVD-R instead of the 16X
but that is just my preference.
And yes there will be a HUGE difference in the quality of a Taiyo Yuden which is first class media and a memorex which is one
of the worst. If you burn games correctly the TY discs will
never fail you.

And Taiyo Yude has two different classes, i usually order tha premuim line and not the value line.

both the TY value and premium are excellent top of the line DVD-R's.

i think one of the differences is how they are packaged... cakebox, spindle, taped, etc.
