xbox live is asking to update on fifa 07 and i dont know if i shomld because of my xbox has had the fireware mod

I updated my fifa without a problem. I have the xtreme firmware 4.1a on my box.

I had to update mine about a month ago when I first put my game in.
I am not sure how you find out what firmware is on your box, unless you know who put it on there for you.
Is it the first time of playing the game on your console? if so I believe its just a game update and nothing to worry about.

i was playin it the other day on live
i also have a floppy disc that they gave me when i had the fireware done it has about 5 files on there

on the floppy hopefully you will have a file called 'orig.bin' or something like that and maybe an xtreme(number here).bin (thats assuming you have the sammy drive. the number next to the xtreme file is what firmware you have. If you have the hitachii i know nothing about these or what files are used to do the firmware so i can't help you there.

All i can say is when i finish work i'll put my fifa in and see if it wants me to update and if so i will do it to see what happens.

I loaded up my fifa and didnt get any update to do dude. Have you updated on this game before? you should have at least 1 update to do.
