You may not be able to, this only works for games that work on firmware 2.71 or the hybrid 2.71/2.81.

naw i want to play metal gear solid ops and thats for 2.82 i think so 3.01/2 is a neccesity

Yeah so you will have to wait until the usbhostfs.prx gets completely re-written to allow you to use it on emulated 3.02.

Kinda sucks cuz I cant even get MGSPO to work through usb and I dont have a big enough MS for it. I can start it if you set devhook to 2.xx -> 2.00, but then I just get a black screen when you start up the game:(

Thats because MGS:PO wont work through USB. This is because it requires firmware 2.81 and doesn't work with firmware 2.71 or the 2.71/2.81 hybrid.

Well, for those of you who wanna play MGS:PO using a USB connection...well the wait is over..look in my sig for the link..i made this hybrid myself...

But the main thing I wanted to discuss was this:

I am trying to play this game: WWE Smackdown v.s. RAW 2007...which happens to *require* Devhook 0.51....

I have found out that there *is* a USB mod for devhook 0.51, but it is only for using the 2.71 firmware on devhook 0.51...

now here is the catchy part..is it possible to put a 2.71/3.01 hybrid in place of a 2.71 in devhook 0.51, and try starting a USB connection on that...??

this, way you are still using the USB only with a 2.71, and you are also getting the benefit of 3.01 FW...

i havent tried this yet though....but its an idea...
