Ok originally had 2.6 which downgraded to 1.5. Managed to get ISO's running via USB but wanted to be able to keep games on memstick & run from there.

Kinda wish aint listened now as its all gone tits up from there. Not sure which part I'm supposed to be following which has concluded in me ending up with a 2.7v.

I can open up DEVHOOK Launcher/VSHEX Mod 1.65b and alter the settings. I can even see an icon of the game i wish to play but as yet i cant get it to run.

Where am i goin wrong folks. Its now nearly 2 in the morning & I'm fed up ;(

So which firmware are you on? That guide is for firmware 2.71 only.

You need to follow a 1.5 guide not anything for 2.71..

what made u want to use that guide? it would work ONLY if u are on FIRMWARE 2.71 non ta-082 or with ta-082.. but why would u folllow it if u got a 1.5 psp? if u were able to downgrade it then try using the 2.71 downgrader

Well to be honest i kinda presumed it needed to be upgraded to allow play without USB connected.

So all that time spent yest bashin my head against a wall was basically a waste of time yeah?

Am i right in thinkin i now need to try & downgrade to a 1.5 again?

And if succeed is there a tutorial on running without USB connected?

yes downgrade again. and yes there are hundreds of tuts. all u need to do is get devhook, put games in teh iso folder and play them starght!
