hi all
i have backed up many games and i got the files for cricket 2007 but i have no idea what type of files they are and the disc doenst work in my ps2. they are of the format
GGS-CRCK07.002 and so on for each file
should i be converting them to another format or just backing them up as the are
many thanks for any advice on this

This type of question appears at least half a dozen times every week here!
What you have are compressed spanned archives, which contain an iso file. You need to use WinRAR to extract the iso from those files & burn it.
Open WinRAR, browse to the folder with the archives, highlight the first file 'GGS-CRCK07.001', click the 'Extract To..' button on WinRAR, click OK, and an iso called 'GGS-CRCK07.ISO' will extract to a new folder called 'GGS-CRCK07' in the same folder as your files.

many thanks i did a search again and found quite a few threads which i should have seen before posting
