I have a external pioneer 111d burner. I have burned several games using verbatim dl disk with no problems. I bought some ridata inkjet to try and I can't get them to burn. They will load and start the burning process but after about 18 sec. the burned open and say
there was an error. What am i doing wronf, i have tryed every thing. I have the lateset firmware 1.29.

Although I can't give you a definive answer, I suspect you're doing nothing wrong. My friend and I tried several burns on both my NEC 2510 drive and his pioneer 111d with discs recommended for xbox 360 backups by our local disc store - Infiniti 360's and Mirror brand discs. With both we had mixed results, some games worked and some didn't, and in all cases even the games which worked couldn't be read back in on the pc to make a new image. By swapping to more expensive Verbatims this problem appears to have been eliminated, so I guesss when a lot of people say stick to Verbatims for 360 backups that's the reason why and it also explains why nearly every online retailer has sold out of the Verbatims.
