okay my ps2 just stop reading disc.you put a disc in it loads for 3 sec and stop.only seeing memory cards.doesnt play dvd movies either.could it be the lens?

sounds like a problem with the laser. try replacing it. good luck.

well before you replace it i would try cleaning it
then if that fails try adjusting it
Then if both fail i would have a professional take
a look at the machine.
