HELP! my 2.71 se-c psp can't run anything

i tried to run the recovery program but it won't even launch. i'm just given an error id (DADADADA) and the 2.71 se-c installer won't run either. the 2.71 tiff downgrader no longer works and devhook won't run any other firmwares, it just crashes. the official 2.71 update won't let me reflash either because it says it's already on 2.71. it started being like this after flashed into 2.71 se-c. how do i go about fixing this? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!

Also, did you put the UPDATE.PBP into X:\PSP\GAME\RECOVERY\ before you tried to recover?

yes i tried restoring default settings. and i renamed the 1.50 eboot.pbp into update.pbp and placed it in the directory but still i'm stuck. could it have something to do with HEN-D? i ran it once after the SE-C flashing.

HEN-D is only for use on TA-082 PSP,s.

would there be a way to undo anything hen-d has done? or is there another way of reflashing into official 2.71 or 1.50?

Have you switched your PSP off completely?
This resets the PSP from HEN-D.

hard reboot the psp. then get a 2.0 eboot and place it in PSP/GAME/RECOVERY rename it to EBOOT.PBP if this does not work, rename it to UPDATE.PBP and run from the recovery.

Use the 1.5 EBOOT instead of the 2.00 EBOOT. If you use the 2.0 EBOOT then you will have to downgrade to 1.5 after recovering.

yep ive tried on SE-C and otehr ppl have also confirmed. but we all used the same upgrader created byt the same person so i dont no if it varies in differnt SE-C upgraders made...

i can't get a 2.00 dump because even x-flash won't run, it just freezes up and turns off after a while. the only step i didn't follow in the guide it came with was the md5 check thing coz i had no idea how that worked. but both eboots for 1.50 and 2.71 i got from psp-hacks. my psp can enter the xmb but it's almost as if it's bricked as it can't run apps. it can go into devhook, but that's as far as it goes, if i run the hooking process, it also freezes up into a black screen and goes of after a while. this is real sad. :(

You don't need a dump of the firmware to recover. Just download the EBOOT.PBP, rename it to UPDATE.PBP and put it into X:\PSP\GAME\RECOVERY\. Then go to Recovery mode and select "Run program as X:\PSP\GAME\RECOVERY\EBOOT.PBP".

im gona try the 1.5 ebott one day man! i had ot flash a systemctrl.prx, is cool to still downgrade. or shall i re flash the normal one and hten downgrade?

lol, ok ok. does Irshell remote work? and also on devhook 0.51, how do i set the autorun to 0? i go into to "other" then down to autorun and i cant change it? ive pressed everything but it still stays on 5?

i'm about to give up on my psp. i'm currently downloading the 2.0 eboot. but i doubt it'll make a difference. i already tried flashing to 2.71, 2.60 and 1.50 with the recovery flasher (which i as i said won't even run) and the tiff exploit downgrader (which freezes up and shuts the psp off). i guess i'm stuck with a pretty expensive paperweight. it'll probably still play media files, but i have a 30gb ipod video for that, and wouldn't want to lug around the larger psp for the same purpose but less capacity. i'm not sure if i want to try upgrading to 2.80 or above as there are still no exploits to downgrade from them. i guess i'm stuck with a defective, semi-bricked 2.71 se-c. and by the way, any iso's i place in the iso folder appear as bootable icons in the xmb, but all of them come to the same error: the game could not be loaded. this is depressing....

excuse me but i have put my psp 2 firmware on 2.71 se-c by mistake it wont let me upgrade downgrade anything & can u plz help on how to run games o it but i really wat to go back to 1.5 how do i do this i hae never had this much trouble with my psp PLZ PLZ HELP!

Make an ISO folder in the root of your memory stick, put your ISO,s or CSO,s in there, scroll to the GAME folder select your game and run it.
