Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
Press the UNDO option
You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
Enter the code given and then press (OK)

when i go to ring someone i get the message "no network coverage" when i send a text it says "message sendinf failed"

Its problem with coverage yours handy(or o2 simkarte)-its no problem mit simlock.You can try other sim.

I cannot right the problem understand.NOW its mobil unlocked?Have you seen -rectriction off?Can you with t-mobile sim call up?
Switch off and switch on your mobil.

my t-mobile sim and a friends t-mobile sim both work 100% fine but no o2 sim cards do all the same problems no signal etc

restriction came off when i put in the unlock code with my o2 sim card in the phone

well its an o2 unlock code its the only sim card ive tried apart from tmobile, could i get it working if i took it to a shop and get them to unlock it again?

Your handy is already unlocked.Very likely yours sim o2 not compatible(old version etc)for your mobil.Ask your local shop-why 02 sim dont work.Or try other sim-your mobil must work with examply orange,tesco etc etc.Good luck!
But remember-if you seen-code restriction off-your handy is already unlocked.
