well.. i'm sure you'd get more replies to your post if umm.. hmm... you posted what version PS2 you have.. what type of chip you choose.. whether or not your a soldering expert or decided to go the way of the PnP, Flip Top, Slide Card, Swap Magic, ect. And of course, you cannot post on how to copy your friends games, rentals, or downloads. That is iiiiiillegal bout newhere I can think of. Instead, you should make ligitimate backups of your own games. Anyway enough babbling on my part, do some research and figure out which version ps2 you have.. and what type of chip you are comfortable installing, and come back for help... or read the multiple posts already posted regarding this topic..!!! hah

I want muh sig to look cool like everyone else's.... just needa take the time to figure it out though! :)

For the newer, Slim PlayStation 2, there are many more options, namely: replacing the original top-loading lid with a new one that allows for easy swapping, or installation of a "Magic Switch" which allows the original lid to be opened without the system realizing it.

You need some type of modification to play backup PS2 games, either a modchip, using a hard drive & HDLoader, or via swap method (Swap Magic / PS2 Independence Exploit.)
