can someone give me a good guide on how to rip psp games///

I have a guide on my site but it is down at the moment. I'll just write a quick guide for you now. (Check back soon because I will edit this post).

1. Download UMDGen 4.00 from here:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/948

2. Now open your ISO with UMDGen and go to PSP_GAME\USR_DIR and look for any AT3 files (music files) that you dont want. Right click one of the files you dont want and click on "Dummy". Repeat this for all the files you dont want.

3. Now look for any PMF files (movie files) that you dont want. Right click one of the files you dont want and click on "Dummy". Repeat this for all the files you dont want.

4. Now go to PSP_GAME\SYSDIR and then delete the BOOT.BIN.

5. Now go into USR_DIR and look for any file names of any languages you dont want and then right click the file and then click on Dummy.

6. Go to PSP_GAME\SYSDIR and if there is an UPDATE folder in there go into the update folder and delete any files inside it.

7. Now save your ISO and its size should be decreased.

your request is very open to interpretation....are you looking how to rip gams from a umd or wanting to know how to rip stuff out of a iso to make it smaller?

do you mean copying a game from a disk? Ripping the game from the UMD and making it an ISO? or are you talking about making an ISO game smaller?

The game is pro evolution soccer 6 and it's about 1.16 gig and the memory card is 1 gig

Try compressing it to CSO using ISO compressor (you can get it at the downloads-->utilities section of http://www.psp-hacks.com ).

Then you can use DevHook to run it.
