iv gone n plugged the wrong charger into my psp. it was turned on b4 i plugged it in n runnin off the battery. i then realised wat id done n was confused so for some reason i took the battery out while it was still on n it turned off. i then put the battery back in n took the charger out n it aint doin nowt at all. no lights, noices, screen. nothin at all. can someone please help me? cheerz. x

Which charger did you use? What voltage does it supply?

Most the fuses in your PSP have burnt out so you will have to replace them. Do you have a warranty?

na aint got no warranty. got it cheap only bout 3 days ago. just got some homebrew sorted n i go n do this. it was a universal 300ma mains charger wiv ajustable voltage on it. it was set at 4.5 v. bin told to look inside so im on takin it apart now but... will i b able to see if outs wrong inside?

4.5v is fine. take the battery out and the MS and any umd. leave out for 10 mins. re insert and turn on without the charger. this should rectify the problem. if not use anotehr psp battery adn see if this owrks. if this also does not work your psp fuses. like eternails said have gone out in whichj case you'll need to buy new ones and re install.

thats thie thing. u need a meter (cant remeber the name of the instrument) to check if the fuses are blown.

Well having heard that the charger you used supplied a voltage of 4.5 V and 300ma, I'm not so sure that a fuse in your PSP has burnt out. Because the normal PSP charger supplies 5V 2000mA.
