2.8v downgrading

Afterdawn.com, you must have someone who can sort this problem out. I've accidently upgraded to a firmware of 2.8 because of some knucklehead touching my psp, has anyone got any idea how to restore it back to a 1.5 version firmware?

their is an exploit for 2.8 so don't upgrade. it may be sooner then you think before a downgrader comes out :D

really you think they'll come up with one? I heard 2.8 is a very stable firmware that is very diffcult to hack... and which exploits do you know?

i installed it.. but... obviously im new to this kinda stuff how do i use it? i know i have to copy and paste the files into a particular place on the psp root memory stick but where?

2. rename it to EBOOT.PBP and Edit it's SFO info "WG" to "MG"
3. paste EBOOT.PBP on ms0:\PSP\GAME\[GameName] Folder
4. start xGSLoader in "XMB - PHOTO" menu then start GameShare in "XMB - GAME" menu :)
Tips: in "XMB - PHOTO" menu wait image display then press [X/O] key to start

when it says 'game name' i assume you mean the rom game name also do i do this for every rom i put on there?

well just got my psp v2.81 i know there is no downgrade yet.. is there anything else i can do with it like a home brew or something?

mate most of this thread they were talking baout homebrew and how to use it.

All I care about for my one 2.81 psp is playing psp iso's. I could care less about roms. I think I'm just going to sell this thing on ebay.
