I was wondering the same thing. If we can't talk games here... where can we do it on this forum? The Xbox has a game forum, the PS2 has a game froum. This is the only 360 forum here. Where do we go? I am getting a 360 soon and I know I will want to talk about games.

I think 360 has been around and hacked long enough to warrant a separate hacking and games forum at least. I mean do we really need 6 PS2 forums while there's only one 360 forum?

I agree Memnock. 6 for the PS 2 and only one for the 360 which has been out for over a year now doesn't seem right. Especially when someone gets a thread closed for talking about a 360 game in the only 360 forum here.

"___ VS. ____" threads usually turn into a fanboy flame-a-thon. closing that thread was a preemptive action. if you don't like the way the forums are, don't complain here, go to the feedback & suggestions forums. until then, post where things go, and those kind of discussions belong on blasteroids.

It wasn't a ____ vs ____ thread. The game title is Raw vs Smackdown. If you look at the thread he was asking for a very specific answer related to the game and how to do something in the game.
There was no way that thread would have became a 'flame-a-thon'

*shrugs* i'm not a mod or staff member; all i can do is provide a series of plausible answers. perhaps it was deemed too specific to be truly useful or it was too open to potential stupidity. point is, it was closed, and that doesn't typically happen without a reason.

I know, I hear ya. It just gets a little frustrating when you come into this forum and all you see is repeated posts about modding a 360 and no real 'game' talk.
The mods here do a very good job, I will never dispute that *whispers* Well... maybe not so much with Creaky *whisper ends*
But, I do think the 360 deserves more forum space. Even just one more section for game specific discussions.
I did take your advice and posted a message in the feeddback.suggestions forum. So, we'll see what happens.

ya, AD is getting pretty gay. The unbelievable strictness is part of the reason that i dont come around these parts very much any more. it makes no sense why the 360 dosent have a games forum. Trust me. this argument has been brought up many times.

Ya, a member did say that and then the thread was closed without any reason. Yet if you go over to the ps3 forum, there's posts about Resident Evil 5, Resistance, Motostorm, etc.

Thanks for the answers Creaky.
Just for the record, I have nothing aagainst closing threads that are duplicate (or even triplicates) of threads that are already there... but the Raw vs Smackdown thread I don't think needed to be closed. And that would have been solved by having a games forum.
Hopefully something comes of this.

Hey creaky... I believe it was ddp who closed it. Now, I do have to say with all respect that AD needs you guys and without the mods this place would be a mess. The only thing that irk'd me was that some member replys to the poster that this isn't a game forum and to go post somewhere else. And then... with no reason given, the thread's closed.

hey creaky, the 360 users have been requesting this for atleast a year (since console launch and exploits were discovered) but to no avail has it been expanded (and for that count neither has the psp section) i understand there is limited space and it all costs money, and advertisers help pay for the site and things of that nature, but we can still dream of expansions :-)
