So I've read both the stickies on the first page but I still have many questions. Please forgive me, i'm a noob!

Is there anyway i can burn a backup without having to buy a:
Samsung SH-D162c
and
Pioneer DVR 111D DVD Burner?

I've just got my xbox 360 modded and i've bought DVD Dl discs also. I have two DVD DL burners, can i use that? I can't take it apart or anything because it's my brother's computer and he be furious with me!

Please help, i've been googling for 2 days now and i've read all the tutorials.

you dont have to back up your games. you should just download them. it would be easier then backing up.

downloading games take an extremely long time for me. My internet is slow and its about a week per game if i leave my computer on 24/7 :[
