i need help with my psp, i just updated the thing but the problem is i didnt finished it. i turned it off. now it wont turn on. whats the problem with that? i really need your help.

if there is no display on the screen but the power light is on then i sorry to say that it is probaly bricked, meaning the psp is completly busted and is about as useful as a brick. you must never switch off your psp during an upgrade or downgrade.

What firmware was it before you upgraded??? Because i was wondering whether i could put my memory card into it and boot recovery mode using my custom firmware??
Oh nvm you have to flash the custom firmware to the psp dont you

your psp is bricked. there is no getting it back unless u install a mod chip (financially retarded), or buy a new motherboard and replace the one in it.

you can get one on ebay for about 80 bux, and thats usually for a 1.5. at the most itll be a 2.6 non ta-082.

Well it's sony. They created it so there is probably some secret method of fixing them. If there wasn't they would so much money on fixing warranted psp's. if you're talking about for sale, no they don.t

flashing the psp, means replacing or modifing files strored on the psp's flash memory(etc the firmware). when you were upgrading your psp you were flashing your psp with the new firmware, get it?

maybe sony just uses some hardware to reflash the bricked psp, like UP
