Hi Newbie here just got my devhook up and running just wondered if anyone can help when I want to download some games they are listed in lots of different parts. how does this work? do I have to do somthing with all the parts to make them one .cso?

Also quick one downloaded Need for speed carbon and when I extracted it I got a folder called 'PSP_GAME' and a file called UMD_DATA? what do I do with that?

Appreciate any help thanks!

first off i recommend searching there is plenty of tutorials on this.

1.) for the many part games right click file and hit extract here. if extract here doesnt show then go to open with and point it to WinRAR. the main WinRAR screen will open and then you click on extract to. it will extract another WinRAR file (1 big WinRAR file) that is the iso file. WinRAR recognizes iso files and consequently places its icon over them unless another ISO utility is installed such as UltraISO.

2.) You extracted the iso. Go back 1 step.

HAHA you seem like a mini me i had the same question but besides afterdawn addicts and me everyone will tell youn nothing so heres what you do

1]Ok download your game from a torrent site2]If the ISO/CSO is in little parts heres what you do3] first of all DONT DO THAT!you shouldnt do things without help and now extracting any pieces of ISO/CSO is a no-no.

so you have a PSP folder and a UMD thing.forget that dont extract anything!but since you extracted one piece go and highlight another piece do not extract the other piece!Then right-click it and select Open or Open with you will need WinRAR(if you dont have it download t from google)slect WinRAR archiver at the top select extract here and then claim your full iso in one piece!

Sorry bit confused so when I have PSP_GAME folder and UMD_DATA file I extract it again?? but there's nothing to extract. do I have to compress them into an ISO?

Download umdgen(latest version)make sure you have WinRAR.You have the psp game folder and the umd data bin.drag and drop this 2 files into umdgen rebuild it go to file on umdgen and save it as an iso or cso(compressed)
