I'm busy converting a vid in psp video9 as we speak..but its kinda takin long...anyway..it created the MP_ROOT and the 2 other folders....As i was tired of waiting for the conversion to finish i fired up 3GP again..and converted a vid to AVC and one to MP4...when i put the AVC in the folder I actually get a notice that the format is not supported..but when i put in the MP4 file...there's no video recognized:S:S...

for everybody having problems w/ the pspand putting videos on it. google psp video 9 and then download it, download a movie from limewire or something when psp video 9 is downloaded, u go to the side of the screen and click convert, then u push transcode new video and then pick it from somewhere on a file on ur computer. push start. then on the side of the screen it should say copy, then drag and drop the movies u transcoded and unhook ur psp and go to video and watch the movies.

so which program allows u to create 480x272 videos that can be put into the psp. i m uable to find such a program that does that and creates both the required files

I'm trying to convert some movies that I got from Limewire and it shows as it's about to convert for like a split second and then says it's converted but the file is like less thatn a mb. Any ideas why ?

so far i have not had any trouble with pspvideo9 but i do have Nero burning software but did not know i could use it though...p.s. i just recently joined and i am trying to learn all the lil tricks about the psp so any hints or tip are greatly appreciated... thnx

the best software for converting dvds to best format quality is to use XVid4PSP. convert them to pmp avc and then use pmpmod avc to play them on psp.
with this i converted tokyo drift to 500mb. and the print quality was like original UMD movies and were playing on 480x272 reslution.

i use mediacoder it works like a charm (http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/), but u gotta use pmp_mod_avc_1_02 that runs on 3.03OE-B....
