Need help on getting a hackable PSP.

K, On saturday I'm planning on going to Gamestation and buying a pre-owned PSP. But i want a hackable one, so I plan on going to get one and asking at the till, "Can I have a look at the PSP condition please?" and having a look at the PSP. Is everything hackable except the ones that say 1C1003 a.k.a TA-082? Can I check the letters on the UMD drive without having to open up the drive/PSP? Thanks any help appreciate as normal. ;)

your best bet is to use www.ebay.co.uk "gamestaion" wont let you look and the psp itself they just will give you the first one they see that is bound to be a ta - 082 or have 2.80 + fimware
use ebay find a power seller and buy from there !

By the is the term hackable about whether you can play iso,s or install apps or play homebrew games? and if it is ta-082 is hackable you can use exploits even if you dont have 1.5 version on it.I think ta-082 is the main man today you cannot find mobo other than ta-082 these days except if you buy an psp on ebay,etc.Gudluck hunting for non ta-082 mobo

lol there aiont no way you will find a non ta-o82 in shops unless they really old and have got stock in lets say siece september lol just use ebay mate and your get money off as well
! shops these days have been killed by online shopping

TA-082(2.71 version) is hackable but you cannot downgrade to 1.5 it stil has the capabilities of an 1.5 version thats what i mean..
note dont buy psp's with 2.81 higher with ta-082 mobo its not hackable yet.Lets use your term hackable(dont know exactly what you meant with this term).To be cleAR 2.71(2.71 version only) with ta-082 mobo you can play homebrew games and iso's.

So this is going to be a problem. Getting a PSP that can run DevHook, emu's and play films - thats what i meant by "hackable". I guess Ebays my best luck.
