hi i have a ps2 slime line i bought swap magic and a fliptop cover ive installed the flip top cover
and my games run fine but when i put a backed up game using swapmagic it goes 2 a screen saying plz put a ps2 formate game disk in

i used DVD Decrypter 2 backup and burn the game i used a datawrite DVD-R

also when i put swapmagic in i can see the lasser working fine when i put the backed up game in the lasser dosent sound healthy and i can see the lasser not moving as it would normaly

could be that the dye used on that media is cheap,
and your laser is just having a hard time reading it.

That or possibly that the firmware on your burner is out of date
causing it to make bad copies.

I would try better media first, if that will not work a firmware update may be needed.

Maybe the Fliptop isn't installed correctly and your PS2 knows when the lid is open? So it knows the Backup is a backup rather than being tricked into thinking it's an Original disc

I see 2 possibilities. One is that you need to buy better DVD-R, Two is that your probably not swapping it correctly.

I had trouble with both before
