Snes emulator news for PSP

Hey, I´m starting out this new thread, for snes emulator for all types of PSP (when I mean all types I mean the firmware). So if u have any questions, come to me.
And later on, I will also give instructions on how to install snes emu´s on psp´s.

Interesting.. :) But will this involve downgrading? Cause while I would love to have an emulator on my PSP I would much rather not have to downgrade.

Ok, I just found out about a program that´s called Devhook. This program, for what somebody explained to me, what it does is that it can downgrade and upgrade ur psp everytime u want.
Like, you know that the only snes emu that runs perfectly for the psp is on v1.0 and v1.5 now u can do that, with no problem.

nooo devhook is made for 2.71 and 1.5 psp...and it does not switch your firmware...it emulates firmwares on you systems operating firmware...it allows you to switch with out upgrading and downgrading to run isos and homebrew..but you will still have your operating firmware start up..

yeah that´s right, somebody else explained that to me a moment ago.
But still u can use it by updating ur psp, right ?

DevHook has got nothing to do with firmware upgrading or downgrading.
As said in a previous post, it emulates a firmware. Enabling your PSP to run stuff that you cant on your "true" firmware.

Right, I understand that, but what exactly does ¨emulate a firmware, enabling your PSP to run stuff that you cant on your "true" firmware.

Ok... say your true firmware is V1.50 and you wanna play a game that needs V2.82 firmware, you use DevHook to emulate (trick your PSP) the V2.82 firmware so you can run your game.

So it has nothing to do with emulating Super Nintendo on ur PSP. Got it.
But..... Do you know a way of emulating SNES on your PSP that is not the GTA-LC way. I´d appreciate input. ;D

do you have 2.6? is so thats the only way on that firmware...upgrade to 2.71 and you can run iso,emulators and homebrew..
