Ive got slax 2.0 and I am able to get the 360 into modeb. I restart my pc and then it just hangs... no windows loading screen comes up at all. Ive tried damn near everything I could and the problem only happens when I use slax to get it into modeb so I cant finish flashing. Anyone else have this problem? Or if anyone has a solution that would be great.

P.S. I am using a VIA 6421 PCI card. It has been used to flash ms25 and ms28 drives, so it has mtkflash on it.

I had to make sure the SATA cord was plug in the 1st port on my card. It didn't matter with other drives before. Also I think I may have had to hit G. What did it say on the screen? Also try booting with the Hitachi tray open.

Flashed countless Hitachi's with Slax and a SIL3112a Card so i'm not aware of the VIA issues. You may have to eject the drive while slax is running and keep it ejected until you boot into windows, like Memnock said.

The sata cord is plugged in. It doesnt say anything on the screen. I get to the slax screen with the cloverleaf on it, turn on my 360,then the screen is black, I open the 360 tray and I know its in modeb b/c I have to push the disc tray 2x to close it.

Ill leave the tray open and restart my pc, but then my pc doesnt boot into windows, all I get is a black screen, so I cant finish the flash.
