I have a Slim PS2 and i noticed while i was playing a backup copy of Fight Night Round 3, the laser moves up and down constantly. throughout the entire gameply the laser would be moving up and down and up and down.

Is this normal? I dont notice this so much for other games.

btw, my flip top doesn't close because of the magic keys II, thats how i see the laser moving up and down. I suppose you can tell by just listening to it too.

moving while reading the game would of course be normal.
But i do not remember it moving all the time on mine.
Then again my top is not open to see it.
You really should fix that top. If the keys are installed correctly
the lid should close

yeah... i know i should try to fix it, but the keys works... i emailed the guys at magic keys and they said that if it works i should just leave it. also, last time i tried to close the lid i heard a cracking noise and when i opened it again the 3rd tool came out of place. i'm just afraid to break anything =(

im not the only one that has this problem right???

not sure, but i have not seen many people on here who play games with the fliptop lid up before.

I have not used a fliptop on a slim PS2. I use to use one on my older V7 but that was a different story, it is not just a fliptop but the whole top of the PS2 case.
when i bought a slimline i got it premodded with a DMS4 Pro chip
because i was so tired of Swap Magic and it's flaws
