PSP DOWNGRADED TO VERSION 1.00!!!!!!

Hello all I was on the subway one day when i saw this kid playing Metal Gear for the psp. I was curious how was he playing a new game that hasesnt came out yet. Then about 10 minutes later he was playing another game but NEVER change the UMD fine!!! After awhile did some research and learned about devhook. i did it to brothers psp im not a newb with these kinda things but i was with psp first timer. It worked becasue u guys made it easy to understand. But when i go about doing it to mine it froze!!!. I used a different program but it froze. So i go ahead and take out battery and restart it and i then see its a version 1.00!!!!!
Yes the psp downgraded 2.60 to 1.00 I was shocked. Is that possible!!! how?
now heres my question should i upgrade? what advantage of having this 1.00? send me link or any info my appreciated.
my life's a one way road but i still feel like im going the wrong way

u probably folowed a 2.6 to 1.0 guide. just upgrade. the only advantage is that you will get CLEAN 1.5 cuz your upgrading straght.

Thats very fascinating... the fact that happened as a whole is an anomaly, the possibility of maybe duplicating it on higher firmwares? But I don't get it, did it turn on to the Menu or a Corrupt System Data message?
Anyway, I'd be careful, make sure the PSP is Fully Operational, 100%, try playing a UMD, if all is good, I recommend a 1.5 Upgrade for the most flexibility, and then you can emulate 3.02 Firmware with Devhook 0.52.

ah...if i wouldve know that there wont be a 2.80 downgrader for ages i would ve cut down my fingers when i upgraded....
