What is Kreon firmware version .81 used for? The OPA firmware is used for the 360 DVD drive firmware update. I don't see where this firmware is used.

The Kreon firmware is for the Samsung SHC-D162C DVD-Rom drive.
Once installed it can read 360 discs, great with Xbox Backup Creator.

The tutorial I read on top of this forum says to use the Samsung with Kreon to read the 360 game then use the Pioneer drive with updated firmware to burn the game....Isn't it better to buy one drive and do hot swap???

FYI I have a laptop, a Macbook Pro, and I'm using Windows XP in bootcamp. What is the best setup for me? But I also have a Dell I can use. Is the Pioneer D111 easy to pop open if I would prefer to hot swap with it?

The Samsung SHC-D162C isn't a burner, only PC DVD-Rom reader.
With the drive you don't need to hotswap.

Is the Pioneer D111 easy to take apart??? I am thinking of saving money and just buying this, and using it to hot swap and burn my games, instead of having one drive to read the games and one to burn them like the tutorial at the top of this forum...
