Sorry, I know there are a million of these but I couldn't find this exact question anywhere -

I have a white PSP, which came with firmware 2.5 and has H on the box to match this. There is no writing, as far as I can see, underneath the UMD slot in the place where it is supposed to be.

I upgraded to firmware version 3.01

With all the above said - if a downgrader for 3.01 comes out will it be safe for me to downgrade without my PSP bricking, and should I not upgrade the firmware further?
