Hello everyone,

I apologize for adding to the vast number of 'please tell me how to do this' threads, but I have searched and read through several different forums and I still can't tell if I can install any of these firmwares on my PSP. I know I do NOT have the TA-082, and the firmware out of the box is 2.60. I have been looking at Dark_AleX's files but it's all very confusing. I was hoping someone would be kind enough to let me know which files I need to download and what order to install them. Thanks in advance.

theres a lot of tutorials out there. just look around and you'll find them. not hard to find. but anyways, ill tell you that i think you should go to 3.02 oe. brand new out today. and anyways, what you have to do is upgrade to 2.71, then downgrade to 1.5 and then upgrade to 3.02 oe. the tutorial is easy to find. juss google psp 2.71 downgrader and theres some great ones out there, or you can look around afterdawn, a lot of links to downgraders. then when you have sucessfully downgraded and you want 3.02 se, juss read the 3.02 oe thread and theres a good tutorial which has the links to what you need. so go around and search.

upgrade to 2.71... http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/525 to do this make a folder under games called UPDATE(in caps) and put donwload file in to it..then go to game son psp and click to start update..make sure ac is in..

Then use this VERY easy downgrader tells you step by step how to use it.. http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/755

then you'll have a 1.5..dark alexs files are for only 1.5..this is why were telling you to downgrade to 1.5..
