Yep you heard it, the God, Dark_Alex has released the new Custom FW and the features are amzing from visulization to 3.02 kernal and homebrew!
In your face Sony one guy, ONE GUY took out your whole new FW in a week or so! Shame!

oh sh!t ma bad then, i was up till 1am last night hoping this would be released before i went bed but it didn so i woke up ealry and posted it here man! oh well 2 is better than one man :)

No usb mod? Who cares about the mod I want psx eboot's. Im downloading an eboot of hot shots golf 2 and im going to test it out on 3.02 OE-A

Bye Bye 1.5 on this psp, ive got 1.5 on 2 more, and I guarantee it will only be temporary. Once devhook can emulate 3.02 and play the psx eboot's Ill go straight back to 1.5. Ive had 1.5 since the very first day I had a psp. Launch of the psp baby, stayed up all nite for it.

so what man we can downlaod ps1 games? if so were? will the game be in ISO format so i just put in the ISO fodler and run from the XMB?

nah touran, i read that the ps1 games come in EBOOT form not iso,
@SUDDS
i dont think youll need a ps3 to play or download them now cause of OE and the ps1 emu's DRM hacked. you can download them through the net, no ps3 needed

But not the ones you download from any of the rom sites, they are ISo. Thats what i mean they,ll have to be changed to EBOOT, unless there is away to play the PSX ISO from the memory card.

well you downloaded the ps1 games from rom sites, so they would be just in iso format, if they were downloaded using a ps3 then they would be in EBOOT form.

I read a little earlier in this thread that someone said no devhook could emulate FW 3.02 yet... I just found this website:

Basically it's got an easy-installer program which installs a modified 0.51 devhook that supports FW 3.02.
I'm not sure if it works or not, as I'm receiving my 1.5 PSP on Christmas. If someone could maybe test it out and see if it works that would be cool. Would save me some hassle if someone could just confirm for me that it works, then I can install with confidence once I have my unit.
