Hi guys i have a question which one of these pack are less risky that they not gonna be TA-082 mobo, m asking this because i want a buy a psp today so plx help. In my opinion value pack is less risky or even none risky isn't?

Mmmmm... Hard one mate, recently Sony has made most new PSP,s 2.81 with a TA-082 mobo, and theres nothing you can do with them yet.
Try and find a preowned one, or search Ebay.

well my first psp was a value pack and it was a 1.5fw ta-081 the second was also a value pack and it was 2.6 ta-081 and the recent one i bought was a giga pack it was a 2.71 but it was ta-082 so in my history go with the value pack but there is a slight chance that it will be 2.8 but i know that walmart is still selling 2.71's

To my knoledge, Entertainment packs are the ones that get the most TA-082 Mobos and 2.81 FW. I bought a 2.81 shit yesterday and returned it. I decided to go to Costco the second time and I got a 2.60 TA-082. Both were entertainment packs and the first one I bought was at Futureshop (Canada) and the second at Costco. The thing is you can't chek the letters on the bar codes of the entertainment pack so I would go with a value pack in a store that has practicaly no customers or a store with a giant warehouse like Costco. Incase u get a TA-082 just buy a 1.50 MOBO off eBay (70 USD) and repace it yourself.

I've just bought 2 Giga packs this week at Argos in the uk,The deal was a giga pack and two game's for £180.The first is a non TA-082 mobo firmware 2.60,And the second was a non TA-082 mobo firmware 2.50.I dont know if it depends on country but i live in quite a small region in Scotland and wondered if these packs had been sitting on the shelf for a while.I was chuffed as fu*k when i saw the code's WS259 I, and WS259 H on the boxes.
