DIRs

PSP/GAME - empty
PSP/GAME150 - put OEB_UPDATE FOLDER in here, and file
PSP/GAME320 - empty

Instructions quickly found by Google - psp 3.02oe-b installation.

DJ - I installed this for my GF who was using Devhook on her 1.5. She thought the whole Devhook thing was a little convoluted. This is VERY easy to use. Just turn the PSP on, select the game you want to play, and play. No devhook menus, changing isos, etc. She can access her UMD game, PSX game and any ISO installed games all from the same menu - right off of the boot.

PSX Games go in the GAME folder. IIRC you can only have one PSX game in your PSP at any time. You must copy the folder name over. So if the game comes in an archive and when extracted is called SC00A2/filenames you need to put the whole thing in there including the SC00A2 folder.

There are instructions somewhere around here on using your own PSX games, I don't have any.

Good luck!

Can someone tell me the comparison with fw 3.02 OE-B and 3.03 OE-B? Is it worth the upgrading?

3.03OE-B supports compressed PSX games and has the ability to run 480x272 AVC movies from the PSP,s native player.

Thanks for the clarification. I have devhook 0.51. no complains. I was wondering why everyone was switching to OE/A-B, but I guess if you want your PSX games, then you upgrade.

keep with alex's work, he will have his firmware doing everything with updates. devhook is a hastle and bugs out. emulating firmware is buggy, acually using the flash to have custom firmware is amazing. just wait, dark-alex will have all your supported homebrews, hes smarter than everyone

Um, DGEN, Snes9x and irshell all work under OE-X, as does 99.9% of other homebrew. Maybe you should read the readme and get all your settings correct before you bad mouth the best thing that ever happened to the PSP scene?

Ah, just what I need, more confusion guys. So again with my PSP running currently devhook 0.51 is it a good idea to upgrade to 3.02/3.03 OE/A-B? Having PSX games would be a plus, but mainly I want to be able to play PSP iso games.

yes, you can go back to 1.5 using recovery, but you won't want to.

3.03 OE-B has everything of 1.5 and SOOOOOOOO much more.

Is anyone else LOVING the full res AVC? The modded 3GP is like the easiest thing to use, and the file sizes are really small.
