I'm looking to downgrade my 3.03 psp to 1.5 so that I can load ISOs.
(I'd like to store all my games on memory cards.)
Is there a downgrade or sequence of downgrades to get me here?

no only firmwars 2.0 to 2.80(newly released) can be downgrader...you have to wait a long time.

well not if my psp accidentally 'breaks' and im forced to enforce my service plan and get a new one..
Well is there a way to attempt to get the ISOs working on my v3.03 I'd like to try it anyway. Thanks1

a way to attemp? nope. you'll have to wait for a 3.03 downgrader. given that 2.80 only now got figured out, don't hold your breath.

dont break your psp to get a new one. chances of you getting another one with 2.71 are so slim they make nicole richie look fat. juss stick with 3.03 and dont upgrade.

if i get a new one from gamestop for example what version would I get?
wouldn't it be possible to get down to v1.5 with whatever the version of the new one comes with?

it depends. cuz im from canada and i bought a used psp. and i bought a warranty with it. so i broke my psp and they gave me a used one. i dunno abuot the us... but if you bought a new psp with a warranty and wanted a new one, youll most likely get a new psp, and theres several things. number one, your most likely to be give something with a ta-082 mobo meaning you cant downgrade past 2.5 or youll brick, and im pretty shure you cant just ask for a certain one. but if you can by any chance get whatever psp you wanted, you wanna get a psp with a 2.8 or lower firmware and not a ta-082 mobo.

so if i could somehow i get a refund, i want to pick up a psp with version 1.5 or lower than 2.8 so i can downgrade to 1.5? why did you go up to version 3.02 oe? Can you play ISOs on that version?

Ok seriously somebody has got to put a "DON'T UPGRADE TO 3.03" sticky. Lol just now the 2.80 has been cracked even if not efficiently and people are wanting 3.03 downgraders lol.

exactly there are loads of people asking for a 3.xx downgrader, it is gett ing very annoying.
with 3.02 OE-A you can play isos cos it is a special cracked firmware from dark alex
xbox with xecuter 2.6 CE mod chip with unleash X dashboard and 160 GB HDD
PSP FW 1.50 with dark alex's custom firmware!

it's not that hard. there are some on ebay. im considering giving mine away and getting a new one. I just feel bad giving it away it was a gift from my g/f even if she is the recipient. :-\

Lol so true but i got my 2.7 3 days ago at beast buy i don't know if that was the only 2.7 but i they had lots

if you won it :S you got ripped off pretty bad i just bought a 2.7 3 days ago for 279 or sumthing and if you dont live in the us you have to pay customs nd all this garbage you were better off finding a 2.7 one

Why a 2.7? The psp 1.5 for about 200 is a good deal, plus the 4gb memory stick sells for about $118 so its not a bad deal for the two of them. Any other thoughts on why I shouldn't take this? Thanks man

whoa color me stupid - I found the 4gb for $59. I guess I could find a standalone psp for less. Any reason why I should go for a 2.7 over a 1.5?
