I've read dome of the threads and noticed that in instructions given
codes are provided for the `6320` and not the `6320i`.

I'm stuck trying to calculate the correct codes to network unlock a
6230i phone and am aware that after 5 tries it can only be done with
a hardware unlocker.

Can someone kindly give me instructions on what I deed to do on the
NokiaFree calculator v3.10 to calculate the correct codes for the
6230i and NOT the 6230.

I read something about `Asic 6`, but it's not clear to me.

Which options do I need to select:
1. - `Asic 2`, `Asic 5`, `Asic 6` or `Asic 7`?
2. - `GTCL-001`, `V1`, `V2`, `Griffin Old`, `Griffin New`, `Prodigy`, `Original`, `ONE`, `Asic 6`, `T-Mobile` or `Custom`?
3. - What's the number to the right of the drop-down showing the options presented in 2?
4. - What's `Enter 15 digits of any DCT4 calculated code`?

Actually, where can I learn about what to select using the NokieFree calculator depending on what phone I wish to network unlock?

Who can help? This would be useful information to anyone who would read this thread?

I did not say it would not work mate I just said that is not the settings I use :)

I always use Asic 6 with the BS 32821 #7, sometimes #1 is required.

If you are from the USA Cingular #1 is the code to use for the rest of the world #7 will usually do the job.

Regards

Instructions are as follows, 6230

Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
Press the UNDO option
You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
Enter the code given and then press (OK)

Read very carefully. Also reade CAREFULLY the subject of this thread. You have a 6230. The phone in question is a 6230i. Spot the i!

`6230i` is not an selectable option on the NokiaFree codes calculator. `6230 (RH-12)`. `6230i (RM-72)` is not in the list.

Just to make it quite clear....

It is exactly the same there is no difference in the settings for the 6230 or 6230i

Research.

I have been unlocking mobiles for some time now, and I work with some of the best unlockers online.
