hey im trying to upgrade my 1.5 psp to the custom 3.02oe firmware using the installer from psp hack. heres the link for those that need it:

my qusetion is that i have devhook 0.46 installed on my psp rite now along with several iso/photos/videos. is there a need to uninstall devhook or format my MS before updating?

It would do no harm mate either way.
Devhook is of no use now, leave your ISO,s on there, theres no need to delete them.
Basicly, no, you dont have to format the card.

Is the "3.02 OE-A UPGRADE & RECOVERY" installed via the EBOOT.PBP method or does it flash the files. I've been using Devhook 0.51 running the 3.01 Devhook FW installer which apparently doesn't overwrite or delete anything when mounting the new FW which is great by me. Just wondering if the 3.02 OE-A is an "easy-install" task or more manual?
