This is mainly directed to Eternal, but if any others can help, I'd appreciate it. Ok, just now i updated to 3.02 OE and I have a game in CSO format, so i put it in the ISO folder i made, but when i ran it in the Memory stick icon under game, it said this game could not be run. So i thought it was because i need Devhook, so i followed Eternal's guide on how to install automatically. I followed exactly, but when i copied the 3 files from the MS_ROOT to the root of my memory stick it said " There is a file already called PSP, would you like to replace it, so i said Yes to All. Then it finished, and in the Memory Stick icon under Game it had 2 programs in it. One was Devhook 0.51 Beta and the other was Corrupted Files. So is this what is supposed to happen cause in the guide it said run the 3.02 installer, but i don't have that.

- Please Take time to Read this (I'm new to PSP's, just got it yesterday)

Thx

make the rest of us feel inferior why dont you.. lol jk

anyways, i'd suggest that since you have alot going on there, just reformat your memory stick, but back it up first. then after that, put your stuff back on, and put the cso in the GAME folder. make sure that you dont put it in GAME150 or GAME271.

all of the above isnt really nescessary, but you really dont need devhook to run the game, so im just telling you how to get rid of it easily.

but your problem is that you need to have a UMD in your drive for isos/csos to run.

That's why, I don't have any UMD's, so i have to go buy a game or movie umd and put it in, then run the iso/cso?

Yeah, but I'd suggest getting a game. I know from devhook that when a movie UMD is inserted and you try to run an ISO/CSO, it doesnt load up, but I'm not sure about 3.02 OE-A. I would try, but I doubt that my sister brought along her free UMD she got with her entertainment pack.

I have another problem, I can't get into the Recovery mode. I hold R while turning it on, but it comes to XMB like it does normally, and reason why?

I don't know much about recovery mode, so I'd guess that you arent turning the psp off all the way. Most people just flick the switch but thats really sort of a "deep sleep mode" for the psp... try holding it up until it turns off completely. Then try and hold r when its turning on. But if your doing that, I dont know what's the problem as I've never looked into recovery

Have you fully turned off the PSP. Hold the switch up for 10 seconds and then turn it back on holding R. Also, in OE-A, it has a No-UMD mode in recovery under Configuration. You can also enable WMA and Flash Player plus auto run a homebrew at statup! There are many more feature in recovery mode.

As in Sonys offical V3.02? If so, theres not a thing you can do, your PSP is homebrewless.
