My budget is about 6K-7K and I am not able to decide weather I should go for a game console or an AGP card in that budget. I love to play military and racing sort of games. I have a P4 2.8 Ghz. with 512 MB RAM.
Cost of games is not to be included in the above budget. Incase if AGP card is recommended, which is the one I should go for. Incase if a console is recommended, is PS2 the best that I can get in my budget or should I go for some thing else.
you didn't mention which currency that budget was in. in US $$$ which is what i deal in, you can get both.....and have a good chunk of that cash left over. for your other question it is dependent on which you prefer to play from. i myself do not play games on the PC so i would go with a console any day, but i know others who prefer PC based games over consoles.........
for an AGP gamer card in a decent price range the Visiontek Radeon X1600 XT XGE is a good choice.
on the console choice, I'd recommend the XBOX over the Playstation. I've got both and the Playstation is great for games that are never released for the XBOX but 90% or greater of the games released in both formats the XBOX game has better all around game play and graphics. if the choice was between the 360 or the PS3 then I'd go with the PS3.......
with only 150 bucks to work with I'd say forget about the PC upgrades and get a used XBOX and chip it, then run XBMC as the dashboard and turn it into a media center w/ games, music, videos, etc......
