I have a quick question about DevHook 0.51.0100..
I have a 1.50 firmware PSP running the latest devhook emulating firmware 3.02... Do I need a UMD in drive to play my back-up games?
I don't have a UMD in hand and was wondering if my games will boot without the need of a UMD in drive.
If anyone has tried and has a answer for me, please reply back, thanks :)

Well, here's the problem..
I have a TA-082 motherboard 2.71 PSP and I'm emulating firmware 1.50 via HEN-D. So, I don't think I'll be downgrading to 1.50 and upgrading to a custom firmware any time soon, any other suggestions?
Also, can't you use the noUMD mode in DevHook on a emulated 1.50 PSP? Is it a neccessity to upgrade to a custom firmware to use that feature in devhook?
btw, nice website you got there :p

Thanks.
But you'll have to use a UMD.
And no, noUMD doesn't work on DevHook, you must have custom firmware (2.71 SE or 3.02 OE).

How about this?
Can this work the games that were first released on the PSP, or can this run with new games requiring firmwares higher than 1.50?
----
How to run ISOs using UMD Emulator 8.0c without an UMD?
1. You must have both UMD Emulator 8.0c and DevHook on your MS.
2. Run UMD Emulator 8.0c first and choose system menu in the boot options, select the ISO you wish to load and press X.
3. You should now be back in the system menu, now run DevHook.
4. Choose any ISO in DevHook and run it, it should now run the game that you selected in UMD Emulator 8.0c.

Yeah DevHook will run ISOs of firmware 1.5 games without a UMD. However it wont work for any ISO which requires 2.0 or higher.
You dont need to use that method, just run DevHook normally, and go to UMD SELECT and select the ISO.

I see, it works that way also. And saves a load of time lol, I will try to see if it works with 2.0> games too...just in case.
btw, what kind of PSP(s) do you have, and what is it running (specs)..

Nice to hear, now that the C+D team found a exploit for 2.80 firmware and decrypted 3.03 firmware, do you think there will soon be a downdater for TA-082 PSP's.. so I too can join DA's custom firmware?
