Ive tryed the 360 firmware toolbox 3.0 but unfortunately my 360 didnt show up in the program. I did slax 2.0 like it said to get it into mode b but it still didnt show up.So my question is to you can you help me and tell me what to do?THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

P.S if anyone has a guide please post it.

Try opening and closing the drive a few times when windows starts to boot up.

SIL chipsets are hit & miss. That VIA chipset that works for Samsungs works for Hitachi 0078.

Try the slax 2.0 alpha its the latest and has better compatability with chipsets.If that doesnt get the drive in mode b buy one of these:
via vt6421a sata cards and that will work for sure.

I used a VT6421L myself. I have heard the SiL chipsets can be a problem for these drives.
