Need help signing up for GOLD

everytime i enter in my dad's Master card number (i have permission) i get an error after saying

Your credit card information is not valid. Please verify your credit card info and try again.

*EDIT* also it is a master card

you repeated yourself, are u sure u got the #'s right? and the address's and the expiration? try a visa?

i did and still no work

*EDIT* i am currently on the 1 month free GOLD trial.. is this mybe the problem?

also i dont want to make another thread so im gonnna ask another question here

how do i connect my x360 to my computer? everytime i go to media sharing it doesnt have anything. i have my ethernet cable connected to my router. but i dont think i need the x360's power on cuz it doesnt say in the instruction manual. so if im wrong please help me out on this or my GOLD problem. i use a wireless connection to get on xbox live. but they never said anything about that so i disconected my xbox 360 and had to bring it to my sister's room to try out the windows media thingy.

It said that on when I tried to use my credit card. So I just used my debit card and it was fine. So ask your Dad if he has another card you can try or something

isnt a debit card different to credit card? cuz i thought it was since it didnt say DEBIT CARD for the credit card type. it only says Visa, Master Card, American express. wat do i choosse to use the debit card

Just put in whatever type it is. Both my credit and debit is a Visa so I just put my debit as Visa

but on the site the vrification code is *** ( three digits max) and the debit card my dad uses has no verification code at the back

its a Royal Bank Client card but my dad says its debit

Call Microsoft and set it up that way. I believe it's a toll-free number. For here in the states it's 1-800-4my-Xbox
