I followed the directions on converting PSX games for use on 3.02 OE-B found here: http://eternal-psp.a22.biz/index.php?opt...id=32&Itemid=28

Everything worked fine, except I had a problem on the optional step of using custom images on the eboots of PSX games:

Quote:
[OPTIONAL STEP: By default, the generated EBOOT.PBP will have the Hot Shots Golf images (i.e the icon image and the background image that you see when you highlight the EBOOT in the PSP's GAME-->Memory Stick menu). If you want a different icon, create a PNG file of size 144 x 80 and add the image you want as the icon into it. Save it as ICON0.PNG and place it in the popstation folder. Now, if you want to change the background image, make a PNG file with a size of 480 x 272, add the image you want as the background into it and save it as PIC1.PNG and put it in the popstation folder. Note: If you do this step and then do step 4 but no EBOOT.PBP is created, then the total size of your PNG files are too large. Try decreasing the size or only replacing the icon instead of replacing the background as well.]

I followed the directions and replaced the Hot Shots Golf 2 images with my own, but on top of my custom background image there is still a transparent box with text from Hot Shots Golf 2 on it. Is there a way to fix this? Here, I took a picture so you can see what I'm talking about:

Do I just put that in the folder along with the ICON0 and PIC1 that I created?

You can also edit the PIC0.PNG and add your own text if you want.

The game is great. It was one of my favorites on PS1, so it was the first one I had to get. The eboot came out to 571MB though. I hope someone releases a compressing program soon.

@Frankie27- You just extract the PIC0.PNG from the Hot Shots Golf EBOOT.PBP using PBP Unpacker. Then you can edit it with a program like Photoshop. Then just put it in the popstation folder.

It's actually three games, one corresponding to each movie. The first one you walk around shooting people (kind of an overhead view), the second is a lightgun shooter (still fun even without a lightgun), and the third is a driving game.

Just follow the directions that I posted inside the quote tags in my original post. You have to put the images you wanna use inside the popstation folder along with the PSX game before you use the program to convert the game to an eboot. It will use the images you put in the folder when it creates the eboot.
