Hi, today i just bought a Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter and it doesn't seem to connect to my router . It says good signal and all of that but when i try to connect it doesn't . My router is a " Linksys WRT54G V. 2.2 " . Can someone tell me the problem

Have you reset the router since adding the wireless adapter? Unplug the router for 30 or so seconds and also unplug your dsl/cable modem. Plug the router back in first, then the cable/dsl.

Stupid question but is your wireless router working in wireless mode already? Alot of people buy a wireless router and then hook an ethernet cable to their PC and never install the wireless driver for the router.

Most likely a security issue in the router. Either encryption is turned on and you've not set the key in the xbox, or router is setup to a restricted list of mac (adapter) addresses. Try going into your router security section and turning it all off. Then once you've figured it out, start adding security back on again.

Yeah, well with my router i can run a scan to pick up wireless devices, try doing that then going into the settings when it picks it up. Make sure no restrictions are on eg no internal firewall is blocking it and check the security like said above

I've used the same router with xbox 360 without any problems. Try to reset the router back to defaults by pressing the button on the back side.
