xbox burning problems

Can anyone help me trying to burn xbox 360 games with no joy. First thing is iam useing a pioneer 111 burner clone cd and DVD+R DL DISCS and DVD-R DL DISCS i have been on a few forums looking already but iam getting nowhere when i unrar the files the image file is there but when i try to burn it clone cd cant find the image is only viewable when i click on view all files when i click on that and burn it. Then play it in the xbox it says unreadable disc Iam burning the disc at 1x speed which takes about 40 minutes
Iam sure the drive in console is a samsung drive and not sure what firmwere is in it
As it was done for me thanks
also when i download the file its got another file in called stealth patch can anyone tell me what this is for and what is the best software to unrar the file to ie Nero image ,windows image

First off, use only Verbatim DVD+R DL (the - won't work) and burn at 4x. If you're using clonecd, make sure you load the .dvd file which contains the layerbreak info. If you're game didn't come with a .dvd file you can create one yourself by opening notepad and typing
LayerBreak=1913760
name of game.iso
Save as whateveryouwant.dvd and burn that. And don't burn at 1x. Do 4x
And use WinRAR to unrar files. Nero won't burn 360 games. Use CloneCD (latest version)

care to say more about the burning speed? how come 1x is not good?

Thanks for the info got a game going but tryed a second but it biffs out at 52% any reason for this ...on cloneCD

The buffer goes out at 52% or the burn?
Are you using the latest CloneCD and the registered version? If not, those are the problems. You can also use DVD Decrypter or IMGBurn but you have to manually set the layerbreak within each programs settings and then you burn the .iso or .000 file (not the .dvd)

i get this too can any1 please, wasting too many discs here and also driving me crazy!
i've tried different verisons of clonece (registered) imgburn, etc
using titanium datawrites which my mate has working.
Running windows mce 2005, intel core 2 extreme x6800, 4gb ddr2 800mhz, got a pioneer 111d, any more info relevant?
clonecd, whyen i hit burn, seems to take quite a while to start, then at exactly the same point it spits the disc out and says write failed.

im not really sure what the problem is but i wouldn't throw those verbs out jsut yet, im pretty sure that there was no actual burning done to the dvd

the discs have been written too, the burn to the same point of the disc every go (about 1cm) from the outside edge.
the discs no longer show as blanks! (gutted and cant afford to keep wasting them!)

Try version 5.2.9.1 of cloneCD. Or use IMGBurn and manually set the layerbreak.
Oh yeah, you also need a registered version of cloneCD. That's the main problem. Why IMGBurn doesn't work I don't know. Try DVD Decrypter and set the layerbreak manually and burn at 4x

i have obtained copied 360 games and copied them to my hard drive using Nero as image files, and when i burned them to disc from hard drive, had no probs...using verbatamin and writng at 8 times speed, with firmware updated pioneer 111......yet tried with clone cd, and get error writes....wierd or what???

I just upgraded to Vista, reinstalled dvd-decrypter and it gave me an error right away :(
E 12:27:58 [0:0:0] PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-111D 1.29 (D:) (ATA) - UDF File System Parsing Failed!
E 12:27:58 Reason: Function 'UDFFindPartition' returned 0
Now when burning a backup It craps out on me when jumping to the second layer
E 12:51:38 Failed to Write Sectors 1914976 - 1915007 - Invalid Address For Write
It fails 51/52% (when it goes to the second layer).
I had a similar issue in the past with one specific image file, does anyone know of a way to determine if it IS in the image file, or on the burning side? With out doing the obvious, trying to burn another image file :p

no, they mean use xbox backup creator, never fails!
