Just bought a PSP, FW 2.71. How can I play UMD ISOs/PS1 games/Homebrew Games

I just bought a Sony PSP, and it came already updated with Firmware 2.71. I need some information on what I can do, if anything, to be able to back up my UMD discs and play the ISOs from Memory Stick. I am also hearing that I should be able to play PS1 games from Memory Stick. And I'm eager to try out some of these Homebrew games and the Gameboy Advance Emulator. Do I need to downgrade my Firmware? If so, can it be done at the moment, and how? Or is there a custom firmware I can set up? Or is there a Loader program that emulates the Firmware and allows you to play ISOs, PS1 games, and Homebrew apps/games. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on your new psp. Your in luck. There is a 2.71 downgrader. You need 1.5 to play iso's backup your umds and play homebrew. Here is the PSOne emulator and you can get the downgrader and devhook with all the files included right here
